Acuna Total Car Care, your trusted auto repair shop in Reno, is hiring an Experienced General Repair Technician. In this role, you’ll perform various maintenance and repair tasks to keep our customer’s vehicles running smoothly. This includes everything from brake and suspension work to engine diagnostics. To be successful, you must have your toolbox and the proper tools to perform diagnostic procedures and repairs. Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including brakes, suspension, and engine components.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and alignments.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and repair complex vehicle issues
• Maintain an organized, clean workspace and follow shop safety protocols
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about required repairs and maintenance
• Ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to a high standard of quality

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a General Repair Technician or similar role
• Own toolbox and proper tools required to perform diagnostics and repairs
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality service
• ASE certification is preferred but not required
